inovani was founded in June 2001. The company has since then developed a proprietary animation technology, products and services that may be used in applications for Multimedia messaging (MMS) on mobile telephones, for presenting content on PDAs and PC such as email and web-services, and for television broadcasting. The product offering is fully developed to the extent possible before adapting to individual customer needs.

The main focus of the company has been development of technology and products since the foundation in April 2001. Now, inovani’s business focus shifts towards commercial development based on the following goals:

	Maintain position as a technology leader in providing interactive life-like animation of talking expressive characters on mobile devices
	Provide solutions for all major user application segments
	Licence technology outside core markets

inovani will itself perform research and development in its core technology area; - efficient life-like animation of talking expressive characters. Partners and customers will provide supporting and complementary technologies, such as speech technology, 3D modelling and application platforms.
