About the demos:

Note that the animation in all the video examples are created from the following data:
bulletThe phonemes in the spoken text
bulletTimed expressions such as "smile at time 1,2 seconds and hold it for 1,5 seconds". When using text-to-speech systems, expressions are added by inserting smilies into the text :-)

There is no manual work or motion capture involved. 

This animation quality is guaranteed when using text-to-speech systems such as Loquendo TTS, Babel Bright Speech and Talsmann from Telenor F&U.

There are several alternatives to see demos:

bulletVideos, Windows Media Player or MPEG

bullet Interactive demos on web-pages.

bulletPC programs that show real time 3D animation. In one of the demos you can type in text to create a face animation - this requires you to download Microsoft Text-to-speech software.

bulletinovani FacePlayer for web-pages. Requires you to download the inovani FacePlayer (290KByte). After that downloading the animation examples is much faster than corresponding video downloads.
